Lane continuously works to offer its employees the latest technology. We were the first company to test the use of the CNC (computer numerical control) Bandsaw, a precision cutter that cuts all of the wood-frame patterns for our products. Today, we have seven of these machines in our manufacturing facilities. We also use CNC wood cutting routers.

Another machine that is used in the production of Lane products is the Gerber Cutter, which cuts fabric in as many as 35 layers at a time. This computerized cutting of wood and fabric produces more precise measures and results in less material waste. The resulting products also feature patented mechanisms designed by our engineers. This keeps control in our hands, allowing us to offer a limited lifetime warranty on the mechanical parts in each of our products.

Our computerized inventory management system allows products to be tracked for exact location at anytime during the manufacturing process.

Lane manages to stay one step ahead of the competition by continuously searching for the latest technology to use in the production of our products.

Our reclining upholstery line was developed as a result of consumer demand for high quality reclining upholstery from a well-respected company that stands behind its product. Lane's marketing staff, designers and engineers have collectively worked together to develop attractive, innovative, top-quality furniture that maintains Lane's mission to be "the most comfortable seat in the house."

We offer more than 40 styles of reclining upholstery, ranging from traditional to transitional and country to contemporary, in hundreds of fabrics and sumptuous leathers. Many of Lane's styles are available as Comfortmates, the most versatile products on the market. Designed with today's consumer in mind, our Comfortmate line can maximize space in a small living area, or it can build character in a great room by adding as many as 20 optional pieces with features such as hidden tables, heat & massage, storage wedges, full-size sleepers and hands-free speaker phones. All of our Comfortmate styles are assembled on a steel superstructure for superior performance and years of care free operation.

Lane offers an extensive line of Sleep Sofas in twin, full or queen size. Our sleep sofa category offers the full support of a stationary sofa, as well as the comfort and practicality of an extra bed to ease overnight guests into soothing sleep.

Our Snuggler offers comfort, style, versatility and space-saving secrets. A twin-size bed is hidden beneath the cushions of this oversized armchair and a storage chest is concealed below the foot cushion of the ottoman. Perfect for any room in the house, the Snuggler offers easy comfort for overnight guests with its five-inch innerspring mattress, as well as the perfect chair to curl up in. For those who might not have quite enough room for both the Snuggler and storage ottoman, we suggest the Snuggler Recliner. This chair- and-a-half features a recliner mechanism instead of a twin size mattress under the cushion. The Snuggler Recliner is a great addition to most any room in the house.

Leather is one of nature's most luxurious products. It is produced from a process called tanning, the oldest of all manufacturing processes. The leather industry is the largest recycler in the world.
