Product Designer :
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years prior upholstery design experience or will consider recent graduate. An education in furniture design along with proven work record will be a plus. Candidates should be experienced with detail drawing to specifications and proportions and possess a creative ability to take an idea and develop or adapt it to a new final market product.

Accountant:
As an Accountant, you will apply the principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Your duties and responsibilities include analyzing information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, analyzing financial information that details assets, liabilities, and capital; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree(B.A.) from a four year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Cost Accountant-Plant Controller:
Our Cost Accountants assist the Cost Accounting Manager by working with other management areas to achieving profit maximization. Your duties and responsibilities include establishing, coordinating, and administering an adequate plan for control of operations through the use of budgets and cost standards; manufacturing performance and analysis reports for management, special projects; development of new information/reports for management to increase their knowledge of current business trends; and assist plant management in utilization of performance reports.

Executive Sales Trainee:
Our Executive Sales Trainee program consists initially of a formal training program in two primary phases. The first area of training is conducted at the Corporate Sales Office where you will learn about all areas of our business, then you begin working with senior salesmen in their existing territories. Your specific areas of responsibilities include obtaining knowledge of our products and systems, development of a working relationship with office support staff and computer systems. Upon successful completion of the program, sales trainees will be assigned as a Sales Representative in an exclusive territory located in the continental United States. Candidates must be willing to travel and relocate. All territories are established with 90% plus customer base actively doing business with the company.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree(BA) from a four year college or university.


Programmer/Analyst:
As a Programmer/Analyst you will have the responsibility to take project requests and system specifications and develop programs to run in a production environment. Your duties and responsibilities include providing assistance to user and information system staff in the development of new programs, reviews of projects to determine the main logic flow of the system, copy production programs to test environment and code programs to specifications in test libraries, preparing run instructions for operations detailing reports created, developing a working relationship with the Team Leader and other management staff.

The ideal candidate must have an Associate Degree in Data Processing and previous work experience or an Undergraduate degree in computer science or business management.

Systems Programmer:
As a Systems Programmer you will have the responsibility for the evaluation and installation of software and hardware on the operating system and testing, maintaining, and modification of that software. Your duties and responsibilities include the testing of the above mentioned software and hardware, documentation of modifications, computer systems capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.




Merchandiser:
Lane is looking for a highly motivated person with at least 10 years of experience in product merchandising and/or retailing. International travel and sourcing of products is also required. This merchandising position will be based at the Lane Furniture Industries headquarters in Tupelo, MS.

Professional Drivers:
As a Professional Truck Driver, you will have the responsibility of safely operating a tractor trailer in the Continental United States and Canada.

To qualify a driver should be at least 21 years old with a minimum of two (2) years OTR experience. Drivers should have a valid CDL along with a good driving record and be able to pass DOT/company physical.
